He not only priced my items but he also does not gouge on prices like other shops around.

In the future, near future, I will certainly be returning to EC&C. What a great local business that I encourage everyone to visit!

  I had some business in gold to do so I made the quick trip!  I was pleasantly surprised by the personal greeting at the door!  
The owner Kevin and... read more his dog Moggie (adorables) came to open up and let me in! There was vast variety of collectibles!  Lots to
look at and admire!  Kevin was very friendly and quite knowledgeable of his inventory.  What was most impressive was his next business matter.  Another customer and her children where again greeted at the door by the owner and his dog.  
They inquired about a sale of their collectibles and instead of buying, he encouraged the kids to keep collecting.  He gifted the boys with books to teach them about collecting and also went on to find books in his stock for them collect their coins! The three boys were so happy and needless to say I was wowed!  The women  called a few minutes later to ask if he knew how much the
books were priced at!  This type of dealing was not only generous but really cool!
This owner not only did great business but truly loved to share his hobby! What a great experience for all involved!

  Thank you Kevin! I mustered up the courage to go into this shop, despite having a pretty fierce fear of dogs. (I'd read in other reviews that this coin shop... read more has a dog onsite and the dog greeted me at the door with leaps & barks as I stood looking inside.) Kevin was the best. He offered to put the dog in another room, but I decided to be brave. Kevin helped me feel right at home in the shop and around his lovely pup, Morgan, as he quickly appraised my coins.

The shop is bright and very tidy & welcoming. I was in and out in about 10 minutes and happy with the amount I received for my 10 Morgan silver dollars. I would definitely come back if I have other coins to sell.

Easy street parking. Cute downtown Elmhurst location with loads of shops and restaurants nearby. I'm so glad I read the Yelp reviews (very positive ) and decided to give this shop my business today.

  Nice little shop with a friendly canine mascot. Stopped in to sell an old gold ring, process was quick and price was very fair compared to other jewelers and gold... read more buyers in the area. Not a bad thing to say...only downside is the parking in that area of Elmhurst can be a bit of an adventure.
